Clash Blue Team 
Coaching Philosophy
(Target Premier League State 
or Regional Competitive team)
This is the more competitive of 
the 2 teams. The emphasis is still on
development of players. A minimum 
playing time of 50% will be the goal
during regular league play and 
most tournaments. However, the 
coach reserves the right to adjust 
playing time based on output, skill 
or player desire. For State Cup 
games and QT’s playing time will 
be determined by performance 
and effectiveness on the field 
that gives the team the best
chance of success.

Clash White Team 
Coaching Philosophy
(Target: Most competitive division 
possible and skill improvement)
This is the development team 
with the emphasis on building skills. 
There will be good playing time for 
all players in all tournaments 
and games, irrespective of 
score or game situations. 
The team will push for the most 
competitive division possible, but 
not at the expense of team and 
all players skill development.

On-line Registration
The Oregon Youth Soccer 
Association (OYSA) has 
initiated a new online 
program that allows 
parents to enter information 
to facilitate player registration.  
Once you have been accepted 
as a member of VFC go to the 
online registration program at:
www.oysa-valleyfc.affinitysoccer.org 
to enter registration information 
required for players and their parent(s).  
If you are a returning member to VFC, 
some of the information may have 
already been entered.  
If you are unable to access the 
program yourself, give the information 
to your team manager and they will 
enter it for you.
You will need the following information 
to register.  You cannot register 
unless you have all this information.  
Do not begin registration without all 
this information at hand!
     Parent's name, address, 
          phone number, and email address
     Player's legal name, birth date, school, 
          doctor's name and phone number
     If you are playing in a competitive 
          or recreational league 
           (ask manager if unsure)
Please read all instructions at the 
top of each page.

Account Verification 
Choose Option 1 if you have 
     already registered
Choose Option 2 if your 
     child is returning to VFC
Choose Option 3 if your child 
     is new to VFC
Returning Players (Option 2)
	Enter required info
	Click Login Using 
                   Account Information
This should take you to a "We 
found a match" page.  If it 
does not use Option 3.
	Parent names may 
                      be incomplete.  
                      You will be able 
                       to edit this on 
                       next page.
	Click on your name.
	Create a Username 
                        and Password 
                        for future logins 
                        using Option 1.
Family Members List
	Check accuracy of 
                     entered information
	Edit and/or fill in any 
                      necessary information
	Uncheck any family 
                      members that are 
                      not registering for 
                      this season
	Click Continue
Check information in Family 
Members Review List
	Click Continue or return 
                      to Family Members List
Player Application
	Check play level (competitive 
                      or recreational) from drop 
                      down menu
	Unless you are playing in the 
                      Kidsports league you 
                      should register as competitive.
	Ask your team manager if you 
                     are unsure of your level of play.
	Click Create Application
Player Detail
	Fill in required info (fields in yellow 
                     marked with red asterix) 
	Click Continue
Registration Summary
	Edit info if necessary by clicking 
                     on edit in appropriate line
	You will need to go to edit screen 
                       to enter an email address if 
                       you have not entered one.
	Click Continue
Thank You
You do not need to print the form
You should get an email confirming your 
     registration.
	Ignore any messages about 
                submitting payment.  Contact 
                your team manager for the 
                 amount you owe and instructions 
                 on making payment.
