in April and May 2010. Outdoor
practices expected to begin in
February.
We intend to host soccer tryouts
for the Valley Football Club,
U-18 girls spring league.
Tryout information is as follows:
Sunday, November 22 ; 12:30~2:00pm
and Sunday, December 6th; 3-5pm
OSU Peavy Intramural Field
(corner of Jefferson Way & 30th St)
This will be the 4th year for the
VFC-Power and we are looking
forward to providing a
fun team atmosphere.
We will have several practices
prior to the holidays, then start
on a more regular schedule in
mid to late January.
2x/week practices will continue from
February through the end of the
season (mid-May). We realize many
kids will be participating in winter
sports (other than soccer) so we
will try to accommodate those as
best we can.
Our goal this season is consistent
with our goals we had 4 years ago
when we first started the team:
Provide quality instruction;
Keep costs as low as
possible; Assist the
Corvallis Soccer Community in
developing its talented players; and
lastly to remind the kids that
Soccer is a FUN and SIMPLE sport.
Please do not hesitate to contact either
Dave or myself with any questions you
may have.
Dan Kermoyan (coach) 758-9045 and
Dave Blatt (manager) 754-5507.

David Blatt will be team manager.

Team Brochure Information Below
Valley Futbol Club is forming a
9th-12th grade girls U-18 soccer
team to include varsity and JV A
players from several schools.
Tryout dates
Sunday, November 22, 12:30-2:00 pm
and Sunday, December 6, 3:00-5:00pm
We recognize some players can attend
only one tryout but to be fair to everyone
we appreciate as many players as
possible attending both tryouts.
Tryout location:
OSU Peavy Intramural Field at the corner
of Jefferson Way & 30th Street
For people coming from out of town,
turn south onto 30th St from Harrison
or north onto 30th from Western, the
parking lot is on 30th St just north of
the field, and Jefferson is just south
of the field.
Game schedule:
This team will compete in the
Kidsports U-18 spring league,
which will include 8 games on
Saturdays or Sundays from early
April to mid-May. We expect 4 home
games at Crystal Lake in Corvallis
and 4 away games in Salem/Keizer
or Eugene/Springfield.
The team also will compete in the
Kidsports Memorial Day tournament
and may compete in several
summer tournaments.
Officially the Kidsports league is a
recreational league whereas OYSA
is a competitive league but in our
experience most Kidsports games
are quite competitive.
Practice schedule:
We will have several practices
prior to the holidays, then start
a more regular schedule in January.
We realize many kids participate
in winter sports other than
soccer so we will try to
accommodate those as best we can.
Twice a week practices will
begin in February and continue
at least until the end of May.
Twice a week practices will continue
into the summer if enough kids want
to participate in summer tournaments.
